Part 3 — The Final Word Before Forever

Eternity Awaits - Matthew 7.13-14 Wall Poster

The Final Word

A. Prayers After Death — Zero Value

  • Once life ends…
    • Choice ends.
    • Opportunity ends.
    • Mercy ends.
  • No prayer on earth can change a destiny sealed in eternity.
  • No pastor.
  • No priest.
  • No prophet.
  • No amount of candles.
  • No amount of offerings.
  • No prayers for the dead.
  • Nothing can alter a decision that was never made while alive.
  • The Bible is clear: “It is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgment.”
    (Hebrews 9:27)
  • Judgment happens immediately after death.
  • Not later.
  • Not after rituals.
  • Not after ceremonies.
  • Not after memorial services.

Purgatory?

  • Not in the Bible.
  • Not taught by Jesus.
  • Not preached by the apostles.
  • Not found in any scripture.
  • It is man’s invention.
  • It is the enemy’s deception.
  • A false hope leading people away from urgent repentance.

Truth:

  • There is no temporary place to get cleaned.
  • There is no second chance after death.
  • Eternity begins exactly where your choice ended.

B. The Reward of the Righteous

  • Heaven is not given to the casual.
  • Heaven is not given to the undecided.
  • Heaven is not given to the half-hearted.
  • Heaven is for those who have surrendered to Christ and remained faithful.

The Crown of Life

  • God promises a crown — not to the perfect, but to the faithful.
  • The ones who refused to quit.
  • The ones who kept believing.
  • The ones who resisted temptation.
  • The ones who endured trials.

The Final Word – No one in their right mind can ignore this warning today. Heed to this word and be prepared for the reward that’s in store.

Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.” (Revelation 2:10)

The Reward is Real

  • Eternal joy.
  • Eternal peace.
  • Eternal fellowship with Christ.
  • No sin.
  • No darkness.
  • No death.
  • No separation.
  • A reward that never fades.
  • A kingdom prepared before the foundation of the world.

Heaven is home — for those who follow Him to the end.

C. The Punishment of the Wicked

  • Hell is not symbolic.
  • Hell is not imaginary.
  • Hell is not a story.
  • Hell is not a metaphor.
  • Jesus Himself warned about it more than anyone else.

Why?

  • Because He loves us.
  • Because He wants no one to perish.
  • Because He gave His life so we would never go there.

Hell Is Eternal:

  • Eternal separation from God.
  • Eternal regret.
  • Eternal loss.
  • Eternal darkness.
  • Eternal punishment — not temporary, not corrective, but final.

Who Goes There?

  • Not the ones who failed.
  • Not the ones who struggled.
  • Not the ones who were weak.
  • But the ones who refused Christ.
  • The ones who loved sin more than God.
  • The ones who rejected grace.
  • The ones who walked the broad road and never turned around.

This is the Final Reality

  • Two destinies.
  • Two eternities.
  • Two outcomes.
  • One decision.

The Final Word

  • Heaven is real.
  • Hell is real.
  • Christ is calling.
  • Time is running out.
  • Eternity is one breath away.

Choose Christ while the door is open.
Choose the narrow gate while mercy still waits.
Choose today — because tomorrow is not promised.
