Laugh. Pause. Ponder. ✝️

"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." — Proverbs 17:22 ✝️

This page is unlike any other humor page on the internet. Every riddle, joke and wordplay here carries a hidden treasure — a Selah moment where laughter opens a door and the Word of God walks in quietly. You came for the smile. God came for your heart. The Word of God is a two-edged sword — even when it arrives wrapped in a joke. ✝️

Each riddle has a SHOW ME button — try to answer first before clicking! And after the answer, do not skip the Selah — Pause and Ponder section. That is where the real treasure is hidden. 😊

🎉

God is NOT a Killjoy!

Many people imagine God as stern and joyless. Nothing could be further from the truth. The God who invented humour, designed pleasure and created laughter is the same God who inspired Elijah's sarcasm, Jonah's comedy and Jesus's unforgettable images of camels squeezing through needles. God wants us to enjoy this life — in a godly and pure way! ✝️

"A cheerful heart is good medicine." — Proverbs 17:22 ✝️

"In Your presence is fullness of joy." — Psalm 16:11 ✝️

"All may drink their fill from the rivers of Eden — rivers of Pleasure." — Psalm 36:8 TPT ✝️

😄 Riddle 1
Which heavenly body is celebrated four times a month?
💡 The Answer
The SUN — celebrated every week as SUN-day! 😄
The Sun gets celebrated every single week — more than any other celestial body. Saturn only gets a Saturday. The Moon lost its second O. But the Sun? Every week without fail. SUN-day!
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
And SUN-day is not just any day...

Sunday is the Lord's Day — the day Jesus rose from the dead. Acts 20:7. Revelation 1:10. The early church gathered every Sunday to break bread and worship the risen Christ. The Sun's day became the Son's Day. The Creator built the celebration of His Son's resurrection into the very weekly calendar. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You set SUN-day apart for worship and rest. Help me honour this day — not out of duty but out of delight in the One who rose on it. ✝️

😄 Riddle 2
What fell off on the second day of the week?
💡 The Answer
The second O — from MOON-day! That is why it is MON-day and not MOON-day! 😄
The moon has been trying to recover its missing O for thousands of years. It has filed complaints with astronomers, calendar makers and grammarians worldwide. Nobody has helped. It remains MON-day to this very day.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God holds all things together — even the O's...

Colossians 1:17 — "In him all things hold together." Christ holds the planets, the stars and the galaxies in place. Even when the moon loses an O, God knows exactly where it went. Matthew 10:30 — He knows the number of hairs on your head. Nothing falls without Him noticing. Not even an O. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord nothing falls without Your knowledge — not a sparrow, not an O, not a detail of my life. I trust You with every missing piece today. ✝️

😄 Riddle 3
When do people chew the most?
💡 The Answer
On TUESDAY — CHEWS-day! 😄
Tuesday has been the world's most popular day for chewing since the calendar began. Chewing gum, chewing tobacco, chewing over difficult decisions — all peak on CHEWS-day.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
What we chew on matters...

Psalm 1:2 — the blessed person meditates on God's word day and night. The Hebrew word for meditate — hagah — means to mutter, to chew over, to ruminate. What you chew on spiritually determines the direction of your life. Chew on the Word. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I choose today to chew on Your word and not on worry. What I meditate on shapes me — let it be You. ✝️

😄 Riddle 4
What does the night owl say?
💡 The Answer
When's day — WEDNESDAY! 😄
The night owl has never seen daylight. Its one burning question is "When is day?" — and the answer was hiding in the question all along. WEDNES-DAY. The day was right there.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The answer is always closer than you think...

John 8:12 — "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness." The night owl crying "when is day" is every soul that has not yet encountered the Light of the World. The answer to darkness is not a time — it is a Person. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You are the Light of my world. Every darkness in my life — every "when is day" cry of my heart — I bring to You right now. Shine in me. ✝️

😄 Riddle 5
When do people thirst the most?
💡 The Answer
On THURSDAY — THIRST-day! 😄
Thursday is officially the world's thirstiest day. THURS-DAY says so itself.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The thirst that matters most...

John 7:37 — "If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink." John 4:14 — "Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst again." THIRST-day has a permanent answer. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I am thirsty for You today — not just for answers or blessings but for You Yourself. Fill me with the living water that truly satisfies. ✝️

😄 Riddle 6
Which day is named after fries?
💡 The Answer
FRI-day — FRIES-day! 😄
Friday has been quietly celebrating fried food since the calendar was invented. Fish and chips on Friday. French fries on Friday. It was always in the name.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
But Jesus fasted on Good Friday...

Matthew 4:2 — Jesus fasted forty days and forty nights. Good Friday — the day He died — He took no food. He who could have turned stones to bread chose to go hungry so that we might feast at His table forever. The day named after fries is also the day the Bread of Life was broken for us. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord the Bread of Life was broken so I would never hunger again. I receive that fullness today — spirit, soul and body. ✝️

😄 Riddle 7
Which planet got misspelt and lost its place in the days of the week?
💡 The Answer
SATURN! It should be SATURN-day but the N fell off and became SATUR-day! 😄
Saturn has been trying to recover its missing N for thousands of years — right alongside the Moon looking for its second O. Both have filed complaints. Neither has received satisfaction.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God calls things by their right names...

Isaiah 43:1 — "I have called you by name — you are mine." God never misspells your name, never drops a letter, never forgets a detail. He who numbers the stars and calls them each by name (Psalm 147:4) has your name written on the palm of His hand (Isaiah 49:16). ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You know my name exactly and You never drop a letter. I am safe in Your hands — known, named and kept. ✝️

😄 Riddle 8
Which planet is engaged?
💡 The Answer
SATURN — it has a RING! 💍 😄
Saturn has been wearing its ring for billions of years and has still not set a wedding date. The most committed planet in the solar system — engaged forever.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The ultimate engagement...

Revelation 19:7 — "The wedding of the Lamb has come and his bride has made herself ready." Christ is not endlessly engaged — the wedding date is set. The ring was purchased at Calvary. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord the ring was purchased at Calvary. I am Your bride. I say YES to You today and every day until You come. ✝️

😄 Riddle 9
Which planet is best at making music?
💡 The Answer
NEPTUNE — it knows how to make a good TUNE! 🎵 😄
Neptune has been composing music since the solar system began. Nobody has heard it yet. But the tune is in the name.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The music of creation...

Job 38:7 — "When the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy." Creation began with music. Psalm 19:1-4 — "The heavens declare the glory of God — their voice goes out into all the earth." Neptune's tune is just one instrument in the greatest orchestra ever assembled. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord let my life be one instrument in Your orchestra — playing the tune You composed for me before the foundation of the world. ✝️

😄 Riddle 10
Who keeps marching throughout their lives?
💡 The Answer
Those born on MARCH 4th — they keep MARCH-ing FORTH! 😄
Every person born on March 4th has a built-in life purpose — to march forth. No career counselling needed. The calendar decided at birth.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
We are all called to march forth...

Matthew 28:19 — "Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations." The Great Commission is the ultimate MARCH FORTH. Every believer born again in Christ has a new birthday with a built-in purpose. March forth. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I am marching forth today — not in my own strength but in Yours. Send me where You need me and go before me. ✝️

😄 Riddle 11
Name the dying ember of the year.
💡 The Answer
DECEMBER — THIS EMBER! 😄
December is the last glowing coal of the year — dimming, fading, almost gone. The calendar's final ember.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The ember that became an eternal flame...

John 1:5 — "The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it." It is in THIS EMBER of the year that the greatest Light entered the darkest world. The dying ember of December burst into the eternal flame of Christmas. God always saves His most dramatic entrance for the darkest moment. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You entered the dying ember of history and lit it with eternal fire. Come into every dying ember in my life today and do the same. ✝️

😄 Riddle a1
Name a consumable letter.
💡 The Answer
T — TEA! ☕️ 😄
The most consumed letter in history. Drunk by billions daily across every continent. Served hot, cold, with milk, without milk, with sugar, without. The letter T has been satisfying humanity since ancient times.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The living water that truly satisfies...

John 7:37-38 — "If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink." T satisfies thirst temporarily. The living water Jesus offers satisfies permanently. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I choose to drink from the living water today — not from temporary substitutes that leave me thirsty again. Satisfy me with Yourself. ✝️

😄 Riddle a2
Name a flying and humming letter.
💡 The Answer
B — BEE! 🐝 😄
The letter B flies, hums, makes honey and pollinates flowers — all simultaneously. The most productive letter in the alphabet.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Be still and know...

Psalm 46:10 — "Be still and know that I am God." The BEE never stops. God sometimes calls us to stop — to be still, to cease the humming and the flying — and simply know Him. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I choose today to BE STILL. No more frantic buzzing. No more constant motion. Just You and me — quietly. ✝️

😄 Riddle a3
Which letters have eyes?
💡 The Answer
I (EYE) and C (SEE)! 😄
I has been an EYE since the alphabet began. And C has been a SEA — SEA sounds exactly like SEE. Two letters with eyes — one looking inward, one looking outward.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Eyes that truly see...

Revelation 3:18 — "Buy salve to put on your eyes so you can see." 2 Kings 6:17 — Elisha prayed and his servant's eyes were opened to see the armies of heaven. Lord open our eyes to see what You see. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord open my eyes today — both the inward I and the outward C — to see what You see in every situation I face. ✝️

😄 Riddle a4
Which letter is the most selfish?
💡 The Answer
I! 😄
Just I. All by itself. Completely self-contained. Needs no one. Thinks of no one. The most self-sufficient letter in the entire alphabet — and the one most in need of a Saviour.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The great exchange — I for HIM...

Galatians 2:20 — "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live but Christ lives in me." The selfish I is crucified. Christ takes its place. The most radical exchange in human history. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I lay down the selfish I today. Not I but Christ who lives in me. Let His life be visible in mine. ✝️

😄 Riddle a5
Which letter is always accusing?
💡 The Answer
U — YOU! 😄
Whenever anything goes wrong — U did it! U is always pointing the finger. The most accusatory letter in the alphabet.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
No condemnation in Christ...

Romans 8:1 — "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Revelation 12:10 — Satan is the accuser. But the blood of Jesus silences every accusation permanently. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord thank You that there is no condemnation for those who are in You. I receive that freedom today and refuse to carry any accusation the enemy brings. ✝️

😄 Riddle a6
Which letter insists it is YOU?
💡 The Answer
W — DOUBLE-U — DOUBLE YOU! 😄
W = Double U = Double YOU. The letter W has been insisting it is YOU — twice — since the alphabet was invented. The most emphatic, self-asserting letter of all.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
You are doubly His...

Isaiah 43:1 — "I have called you by name — you are mine." God doubles down on YOU. YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made, YOU are the apple of His eye, YOU are written on the palm of His hand. Double-U. Double-YOU. Doubly His. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I am doubly Yours — called by name, written on Your palm, held in Your hand. I rest in that today. ✝️

😄 Riddle a7
Which letter is always asking questions?
💡 The Answer
Y — WHY! 😄
Y has been asking the hardest questions since the alphabet began. Why is there suffering? Why did this happen? The most philosophically active letter of all.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The deepest Y ever asked...

Matthew 27:46 — "My God, my God, WHY have you forsaken me?" The deepest WHY in human history — asked by God Himself on the cross. And God answered it three days later with an empty tomb. Every WHY you have ever asked is covered by that answer. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I bring my deepest WHY to You today. I may not receive an answer immediately — but I trust the God who answered the deepest WHY with an empty tomb. ✝️

😄 Riddle a8
Which letter shows you to the washroom?
💡 The Answer
P! 😄
The most practically useful letter in an emergency. P has been directing people to the washroom since the alphabet began.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The greatest cleansing...

Psalm 51:2 — "Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin." Isaiah 1:18 — "Though your sins are like scarlet they shall be as white as snow." P points to the washroom. The blood of Jesus points to a cleansing no washroom can provide. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord cleanse me today — not just physically but spiritually. Wash away everything that does not belong and make me white as snow. ✝️

😄 Riddle a9
Which letter is watery?
💡 The Answer
C — SEA! 😄
C is the SEA — the most watery letter. And SEA = SEE — so C both IS the sea and SEES it simultaneously. The most versatile letter in the alphabet.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
He stilled the sea...

Mark 4:39 — "He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves — Quiet! Be still!" The Letter C — the sea — answers to the voice of Jesus. Every storm in your life answers to the same voice. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord still the storms in my life with the same voice that stilled the Sea of Galilee. Speak — and let it be completely calm. ✝️

😄 Riddle 12
What did one wall say to the other wall?
💡 The Answer
"I'll meet you at the CORNER!" 😄
The two walls have been planning this meeting since the building was constructed. They are very patient. They will meet — at the corner — as they always do.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God always keeps His appointments...

Isaiah 40:31 — "Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength." God met Moses at a burning bush, Elijah under a broom tree, Paul on a Damascus road. He will meet you exactly where He said He would. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You keep every appointment. Meet me today — exactly where You said You would. I am here and I am waiting. ✝️

😄 Riddle 13
What flies without wings?
💡 The Answer
TIME! 😄
Time has been flying without wings since the beginning of creation. No feathers, no engine, no ticket required. It simply goes — and takes everything with it.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Redeem the time...

Ephesians 5:16 — "Making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil." Psalm 90:12 — "Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom." Time flies whether we use it or waste it. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord teach me to number my days. Help me use what I have today for what matters eternally — not what is urgent but what is important. ✝️

😄 Riddle 14
What has many keys but cannot open a single door?
💡 The Answer
A PIANO! 🎹 😄
The piano has 88 keys and cannot open a single door. Completely keyless in the practical sense. Infinitely rich in every other sense.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The key that opens every door...

Revelation 3:7 — "He who has the key of David — who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens." Christ holds the one key that matters. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You hold the key to every door I am standing before today. I stop trying to force them open and hand the key to You. ✝️

😄 Riddle 15
What has a neck but no head?
💡 The Answer
A BOTTLE! 🍾 😄
The bottle has been neckless — headless — since glass was invented. It holds wine, water, oil — with no head to think about any of it.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The Head that matters...

Colossians 1:18 — "He is the head of the body, the church." A church without Christ as Head is just an organisation. With Him as Head — every member functions and the whole body builds itself up in love. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord be the Head of everything in my life today — my decisions, my relationships, my work, my words. Without You directing — nothing functions as it should. ✝️

😄 Riddle 16
What can travel around the world while staying in one corner?
💡 The Answer
A STAMP! ✉️ 😄
The stamp has seen more countries than most travellers — from one small corner. It goes everywhere while going nowhere. The most well-travelled stationary object in history.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The Word that travels from one corner...

Isaiah 55:11 — "My word will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire." The Bible — written in one small corner of the world — has travelled to every nation, every language and every generation on earth. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord send Your word today into the far corners of the earth. Let it travel to places I will never go and do what only You can do. ✝️

😄 Riddle 17
What has one eye but cannot see?
💡 The Answer
A NEEDLE! 🪡 😄
The needle has had one eye since needles began and has never seen a single thing. The most ironic eye in the sewing basket.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
And the camel connection...

Matthew 19:24 — "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." What is impossible for a camel is possible with God (Matthew 19:26). ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You can do what is humanly impossible. I bring to You today what I cannot fix, cannot force and cannot open. You have the key. Open it Lord. ✝️

😄 Riddle 18
Which jam cannot be put in a container?
💡 The Answer
TRAFFIC JAM! 😄
Every other jam goes neatly into a jar. Traffic Jam refuses. It spills across highways, blocks intersections and holds thousands hostage with no jar large enough to contain it.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The peace that passes all understanding...

Philippians 4:7 — "The peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts." Just as traffic jam cannot be contained — God's peace cannot be explained. It simply IS. In the middle of life's greatest traffic jams — it holds. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord in the middle of today's traffic jams — the delays, the frustrations, the things that are not moving — give me Your peace that cannot be contained. ✝️

😄 Riddle 19
Who can hold thousands of vehicles with just one hand?
💡 The Answer
A TRAFFIC COP! 😄
The traffic cop holds more power per square metre than almost any other authority. One raised hand stops thousands of tonnes of vehicles instantly.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The hand that holds everything...

Isaiah 40:12 — "Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand?" John 10:28-29 — "No one can snatch them out of my hand." The traffic cop's raised hand is a tiny picture of the hand that holds the universe — and every believer within it. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I am held in Your hand today. No enemy, no circumstance, no fear can reach me there. I rest in the safety of the hand that holds the universe. ✝️

😄 Riddle 20
Who came out of the Tower of Babel?
💡 The Answer
BLABBERERS! 😄
They went in as builders with a plan. They came out blabbering in every direction. The most expensive communication breakdown in history.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
And Pentecost reversed it all...

Acts 2:4-6 — at Pentecost everyone heard in their own language. Babel scattered — Pentecost gathered. Babel confused — Pentecost clarified. What the enemy used to divide humanity God used to unite it. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You reversed Babel at Pentecost. Reverse every confusion and division in my life today. What the enemy scatters — You gather. ✝️

😄 Riddle 21
Name a sinful tree.
💡 The Answer
ADULTERY — ADUL-TREE! 😄
The sinful TREE has been hiding in the dictionary for centuries. ADUL + TREE = ADULTERY. And fittingly — the very first sin also involved a tree.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
But there is another tree...

1 Peter 2:24 — "He himself bore our sins in his body on the TREE." The sinful tree of ADUL-TREE is answered by the tree of the cross. Every sin was nailed to that tree. Galatians 3:13. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I bring every sinful tree in my life to the tree of the cross today. Nail it all there. I receive forgiveness, freedom and a clean start. ✝️

😄 Riddle 22
Who are liars?
💡 The Answer
Those who LIE to US — LI-AR-S! Never me! 😄
Liars are simply those who LIE to US. The word contains the evidence. Always someone else's problem.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The father of lies and the Spirit of truth...

John 8:44 — the devil "is a liar and the father of lies." John 16:13 — "The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth." Every lie traces back to one source. Every truth traces back to one Source. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I choose today to walk in truth — Your truth — and refuse every lie the enemy whispers. The Spirit of truth lives in me. ✝️

😄 Riddle 23
Name the first bloodless surgery in history.
💡 The Answer
God operating on Adam in Genesis 2:21! 😄
Patient: Adam 🧑
Surgeon: God 🙌
Anaesthesia: Deep sleep 😴
Procedure: Rib removal 🦴
Blood loss: None! 😄
Post-op result: Marriage 💍
Side effect: Humanity! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The greatest Surgeon still heals today...

Genesis 2:21-22. Zero complications, zero blood loss, zero recovery time. The patient woke up to find a wife. Isaiah 53:5 — "By his stripes we are healed." Jehovah Rapha has been in practice since Eden. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You are still the Great Physician. Perform Your surgery in me today — remove what does not belong, heal what is broken and close it up without a scar. ✝️

😄 Riddle 24
What currency did Jacob trade in?
💡 The Answer
BIRTHRIGHT! 😄
Not shekels. Not gold. A bowl of lentil soup for an entire inheritance. The worst trade in Esau's history and the best in Jacob's.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
What is your birthright worth to you?

Hebrews 12:16 — Esau sold his birthright for a single meal. Our birthright in Christ — sons and daughters of God, heirs of the kingdom (Romans 8:17), seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6) — is infinitely greater. Do not trade it for a moment of comfort. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I will not trade my birthright in You for any temporary comfort or pleasure today. What You have given me is worth far more than any bowl of soup. ✝️

😄 Riddle 25
Who ran the first restaurant in the Bible?
💡 The Answer
JACOB! 😄
Genesis 25 — Jacob had the lentil soup ready and waiting. The menu had exactly one item. The price was your entire inheritance. No Zomato reviews survived — but Esau gave it five stars.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The table God prepares...

Psalm 23:5 — "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Jacob's table required you to give everything. God's table gives you everything — and the price was paid by Someone else entirely. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You have prepared a table for me in the presence of my enemies. I choose to sit at it today — in faith, in peace and in full expectation of Your provision. ✝️

😄 Riddle 26
Which father was not deceived despite his poor vision?
💡 The Answer
JACOB! 😄
Genesis 27 — blind Isaac was completely deceived by Jacob. But Jacob himself in Genesis 48 — with failing eyesight — deliberately crossed his hands to bless the younger over the older. Poor physical vision. Perfect spiritual sight.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God sees what human eyes miss...

1 Samuel 16:7 — "The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance but the LORD looks at the heart." ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord give me spiritual sight today — to see past the outward appearance to the heart, past the circumstances to Your purpose, past the natural to the supernatural. ✝️

😄 Riddle 27
Which Bible character would say — "I met you — now pause!"?
💡 The Answer
METHUSELAH — Met-U-Selah! 😄
METHU + SELAH — "I met you — now pause and reflect on that!" And Selah in the Psalms means exactly that — pause, reflect, let it sink in. Methuselah's entire name is a divine instruction.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Meet God — then pause...

Psalm 46:10 — "Be still and know that I am God." Every encounter with God deserves a Selah. Moses at the burning bush took off his sandals and stood still. Elijah heard God in the still small voice — after the noise stopped. Met U — Selah. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I have met You today. I pause. I selah. I let this moment of encounter settle into my soul before I rush on. Met U — Selah. ✝️

😄 Riddle 28
Name the biblical family whose names together point to the brother beating his sister when translated in Hindi.
💡 The Answer
LAZARUS MARTHA HAI MARY KO — Lazarus beats Mary! 😄
Martha in Hindi means MARTA — beats. Put the three siblings together as a sentence: LAZARUS + MARTHA (marta = beats) + MARY = Lazarus beats Mary! The whole family drama in three names! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
But Jesus loved all three equally...

John 11:5 — "Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus." He wept with Mary. He engaged Martha's theology. He raised Lazarus. In God's family nobody beats anyone — all are equally treasured. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord in Your family no one is ranked above another. Thank You that You love me completely — not comparatively. I rest in that love today. ✝️

😄 Riddle 29
Whose wife can be freely remembered by every married man without any guilt?
💡 The Answer
LOT'S WIFE! 😄
Jesus Himself commanded it — Luke 17:32 — "Remember Lot's wife." Every married man in the world has divine authorisation to remember her. No wife can object — because Jesus said so! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
But WHY remember her?

Not to admire her — but to heed her warning. She looked back at what she was leaving and it destroyed her. Luke 17:32 comes in the context of the end times — do not look back, do not cling to the old life. Philippians 3:13-14 — "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead." Remember Lot's wife. Then run the other way. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I choose today not to look back. I let go of what is behind and press toward what is ahead. You are in front of me — that is enough. ✝️

😄 Riddle 30
Who had already read the life of Moses before you and me?
💡 The Answer
THE RED SEA! 😄
The Red Sea was THERE — it did not just read about Moses, it LIVED through the story! It witnessed the parting, the crossing, the drowning of Pharaoh's army. It READ Moses's life in real time — before anyone wrote it down! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The Red Sea that saw God...

Psalm 77:16 — "The waters saw you O God — the waters saw you and writhed." The Red Sea did not just read Moses's life — it recognised God in it and responded. How much more should we, who have read it, recognise and respond to the same God at work in our lives today? ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I have read about You — but I want to live through Your story as the Red Sea did. Make my life a witness to Your power that others cannot deny. ✝️

😄 Riddle 31
Name the thief in the Old Testament.
💡 The Answer
JACOB! 😄
Jacob stole Esau's birthright with a bowl of soup and then stole his blessing with a goat skin disguise. The most prolific thief in the patriarchal period — before breakfast.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The thief who became a prince...

Genesis 32:28 — after wrestling with God, Jacob's name was changed to ISRAEL. The thief became a prince. The deceiver became the father of twelve tribes. God does not discard broken people — He renames them. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord whatever I have taken that was not mine — whatever I have deceived myself or others about — I bring it to You now. Rename me. Transform me. Start again. ✝️

😄 Riddle 32
Who competed and won though he did not qualify?
💡 The Answer
JACOB — the blessing match! 😄
Only Esau qualified for Isaac's blessing by birthright. Jacob showed up in disguise, presented false credentials and won the blessing outright. The most audacious upset in biblical history. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Grace qualifies the unqualified...

Romans 5:8 — "While we were still sinners Christ died for us." None of us qualify for God's blessing by birthright. We come covered not in goat skin but in the righteousness of Christ. And the Father gives us the blessing anyway. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I do not qualify — but You do. I come not in my own righteousness but covered in Yours. Give me today the blessing I could never earn. ✝️

😄 Riddle 33
Name the first man who saw all things electronically.
💡 The Answer
E-SAW — ESAU! 😄
The answer was hiding in the question all along — "saw all things ELECTRO-NI-CALLY" — E + SAW = ESAU! The first electronic viewer in history. No screen required. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
But Esau did not see what mattered most...

Hebrews 12:16-17 — Esau E-SAW the soup, the immediate hunger, the temporary need — and missed the eternal. Lord give us eyes that see what truly matters. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord open my eyes to see what truly matters — not the immediate, the temporary or the visible — but the eternal things You have prepared for those who love You. ✝️

😄 Riddle 34
Who had exclusive rights to terminate you?
💡 The Answer
ISAAC — I SACK! 😄
I + SAAC = I SACK — present tense, permanent, eternal. ISAAC has exclusive termination rights. Always has. Always will. Isaac never becomes Isaacd. The authority is permanently built into the name.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The One who holds life and death...

Deuteronomy 32:39 — "I put to death and I bring to life." Job 14:5 — "A person's days are determined." No illness, no accident, no enemy has termination rights over your life. Only the One whose name means I SACK holds that authority — and He numbers your days with love. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord my times are in Your hands. My days are numbered by You with love. I trust You with the length, the content and the purpose of my life. ✝️

😄 Riddle 35
Dead since several millenniums yet not buried still.
💡 The Answer
THE DEAD SEA! 😄
The Dead Sea has been dead for thousands of years and nobody has buried it yet. It lies there — unburied — completely, irreversibly STILL. The most patient corpse in geographical history.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
But Ezekiel saw it come alive...

Ezekiel 47:8-9 — "Where the river flows everything will live." What has been dead for millenniums is not beyond God's reach. What seems permanently finished in your life — God can make alive again. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord speak life into every dead thing in my life today. Where the river of Your Spirit flows — let everything live again. ✝️

😄 Riddle 36
What can see though it is dead?
💡 The Answer
THE DEAD SEA — it SEE-s! DEAD + SEA = DEAD + SEE! 😄
The DEAD SEA has been SEEING for millenniums — SEA sounds exactly like SEE. Completely dead. Perpetually seeing.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Eyes that truly see...

Revelation 3:18 — "Buy salve to put on your eyes so you can see." Lord give us eyes that see — not just what is in front of us but what You are doing. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord open the eyes of my heart today. Let me see You in every situation — not just with physical eyes but with the eyes of faith. ✝️

😄 Riddle 37
Which colour has eyes?
💡 The Answer
RED — the RED SEA! RED + SEA = RED + SEE! 😄
The RED SEA has been seeing with its RED eyes for thousands of years. And what eyes — it witnessed the parting of the waters, two million people crossing on dry ground and the army of Egypt destroyed.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
What the Red Sea witnessed...

Psalm 77:16 — "The waters saw you O God and writhed." The Red SEA truly did SEE the greatest display of God's power in the Old Testament. And the same God still acts today. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord You are the same God who parted the Red Sea. The challenge before me today is no larger than that sea. Speak — and make a way. ✝️

😄 Riddle 38
A single word with a grammatical error that no one has ever seen — discovered today by charlenz.shop!
💡 The Answer
TODAY — TO-DAY contains TWO days! 😄
TO sounds like TWO — so TODAY = TWO DAYS! The word that describes ONE day secretly contains TWO days. A grammatical error hiding in plain sight for thousands of years — discovered today by charlenz.shop. Which means it was discovered TWO days! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God's mercies are new every day...

Lamentations 3:22-23 — "His compassions never fail. They are new every morning." Every TODAY — whether it secretly contains one day or two — brings fresh mercies. God's faithfulness never runs out. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord this is a new day — with new mercies, new possibilities and new grace. I receive TODAY fully — both the days it contains. ✝️

😄 Riddle 39
A day in the past that insists it is today.
💡 The Answer
YESTERDAY — YES-TO-DAY! 😄
Say it slowly — YES... TO... DAY. Yesterday is a day in the past that keeps insisting IT IS TODAY by saying YES TO DAY! The most confused day in the calendar — already gone but still saying yes to the present.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The God of yesterday who is today...

Hebrews 13:8 — "Jesus Christ is the same YESTERDAY, today and forever." His YESTERDAY still says YES TO DAY. Every promise He made yesterday is alive today. His faithfulness in your past insists on being present in your now. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord Your faithfulness in my yesterday is my confidence for today. What You did before You will do again. YES TO DAY — always. ✝️

Why do serpents crawl? The comedy of Genesis 3:14

God cursed the serpent to crawl on its belly — which implies it did not crawl before. It apparently walked or stood upright. So when Eve encountered a talking, upright serpent she was not alarmed — it was a normal creature in Eden.

The Fall literally brought the serpent down. The creature that stood tall to deceive now eats dust forever. God's judgement has a poetic justice that is almost comic — the highest became the lowest. And the dust it eats? Genesis 3:19 — "Dust you are" — fallen human flesh-nature. The Holy Spirit — living water — turns dust to clay (Isaiah 64:8) and removes us from the serpent's menu entirely. ✝️

"So the LORD God said to the serpent — Cursed are you above all livestock! You will crawl on your belly and eat dust all the days of your life." — Genesis 3:14

🍎

Why did the serpent choose Eve and not Adam?

Adam received the command directly from God before Eve was created (Genesis 2:16-17). Eve received it second-hand. The enemy targeted the one with the less direct connection to the source.

But here is the really funny part: 1 Timothy 2:14 says Adam was NOT deceived — Eve was deceived. Adam sinned with full knowledge. Which makes Adam more responsible, not less. The serpent went to great trouble to deceive Eve — while Adam simply went along without even being asked. 😄

And Genesis 3:6 says she gave some to her husband who was WITH HER. He was standing right there. Silently. Saying nothing. While his wife was being theologically outmanoeuvred by a reptile. 😄

The moral: As one preacher wisely noted — women love conversation and men often avoid it. The serpent seized the opportunity when Adam was not engaging. Men — give time to your wives before the devil does. 😄 ✝️

"She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it." — Genesis 3:6

Elijah mocking the prophets of Baal — 1 Kings 18:27

This is the finest recorded example of biblical sarcasm. The prophets of Baal had been crying out and cutting themselves for hours with no answer. Elijah — who had calmly called down fire on a water-soaked sacrifice — watched them and offered helpful suggestions.

"Shout louder!" he said. "Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought — or busy — or TRAVELLING — or maybe he is SLEEPING and must be awakened." 😄😄😄

The Hebrew word translated "busy" can also mean he has gone to relieve himself. Elijah was suggesting Baal was in the bathroom. This is in the inspired Holy Bible. 😄

God not only has a sense of humour — He inspired Elijah to deploy it at exactly the right moment. ✝️

"At noon Elijah began to taunt them — Shout louder! Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened." — 1 Kings 18:27

🐴

Balaam's donkey out-prophesying the prophet — Numbers 22

Balaam was a professional seer — paid to have visions and prophetic insight. His donkey saw the angel of the Lord three times before Balaam saw it once.

Then the donkey spoke. And won the argument. Numbers 22:28-30 — the donkey actually out-argues Balaam before the angel appears. 2 Peter 2:16 says the donkey "spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet's madness."

The animal had more sense than the credentialed prophet. The hired seer was out-seen by his own transportation. 😄

Never be so credentialed that you cannot hear God speaking through the most unexpected source. Sometimes the donkey is right. ✝️

"Then the LORD opened the donkey's mouth and it said to Balaam — What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?" — Numbers 22:28

🐟

Jonah — three days to learn one lesson — Jonah 1-4

God needed three days in a fish belly to get one reluctant prophet's attention. The Creator of the universe had to arrange a specific fish at a specific moment to swallow a specific man and keep him alive for three days just to produce one willing missionary. 😄

Then the really funny part — after the fish, the second chance, the greatest revival in the Old Testament (the entire city of Nineveh repenting) — Jonah sits outside the city and SULKS because God did not destroy it.

Jonah 4:10-11 — God's response is the gentlest divine sarcasm in Scripture: "You cared about a plant you did not even grow. Should I not care about 120,000 people?" The book ends there. No resolution. Just God's question hanging in the air — and Jonah presumably still sulking. 😄

God's patience with sulky prophets is remarkable. His patience with us is the same. ✝️

"Should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people?" — Jonah 4:11

👑

The disciples arguing about greatness — Mark 9:33-35

The greatest Person who ever walked the earth was standing right in front of them — and they were competing about who among themselves was greatest. 😄

Mark 9:33-34 — Jesus asks what they were arguing about on the road and they went completely silent. They knew. Twelve grown men suddenly very interested in the ground beneath their feet. 😄

Jesus sat down, called the twelve and said — "If anyone wants to be first he must be the very last and the servant of all." Then He placed a small child before them and said the kingdom belongs to such as these.

The disciples arguing about who was greatest were told the greatest among them was a child. The One walking among them — whom they had just been ignoring — was the actual answer to their question. They simply could not see it. 😄 ✝️

"They came to Capernaum. He asked them — What were you arguing about on the road? But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest." — Mark 9:33-34

👂

Peter and the ear — John 18:10 / Luke 22:51

Peter drew his sword and struck the high priest's servant, cutting off his right ear. Jesus immediately healed it — the only recorded miracle that reversed damage caused by one of His own disciples. 😄

Peter's intentions were excellent. His swordsmanship was terrible. He was a fisherman. He aimed — and either missed everything except an ear or Malchus moved at exactly the right moment.

Jesus healed the ear, rebuked Peter and then surrendered voluntarily — demonstrating that Peter's heroic intervention was completely unnecessary. Jesus cleaned it up immediately. 😄

The deeper irony: Jesus repeatedly said "He who has an ear — let him HEAR what the Spirit says." Peter nearly ensured Malchus could never hear anything again. Jesus restored the ear — and perhaps Malchus heard the gospel and believed. ✝️

"Then Simon Peter drew his sword and struck the high priest's servant, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered — No more of this! And he touched the man's ear and healed him." — John 18:10 / Luke 22:51

🪵

The log and the speck — Matthew 7:3-5

Jesus paints one of the most absurd visual images in all of literature. A man walking around with a wooden plank sticking out of his eye — trying to remove a microscopic speck from someone else's eye. 😄

The comedy is in the image. The plank is enormous. The man cannot see it. He is genuinely trying to help. He leans in carefully — with a plank blocking his entire field of vision — and offers optical assistance.

Nobody who heard Jesus say this forgot it. Nobody could. You cannot unhear the image. Truth wrapped in an unforgettable image lands in the memory and stays there permanently. That was precisely the point. ✝️

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" — Matthew 7:3

🐪

The camel and the needle — Matthew 19:24

Jesus's second great absurd image — a camel attempting to squeeze through the eye of a needle. 😄

Camels are the least aerodynamic animals in existence. The eye of a needle is the smallest common opening a first-century audience knew. The juxtaposition is so extreme it becomes visually funny.

The disciples were astonished — "Who then can be saved?" Jesus replied — "With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible." The comedy serves a serious purpose — the impossibility of the image makes the point completely unforgettable. Self-sufficient wealth cannot squeeze through the door of the kingdom. Only surrender can. ✝️

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." — Matthew 19:24

🪨

If Jesus had turned stones to bread — Matthew 4:3-4

Satan said — "If you are the Son of God command these stones to become bread." Jesus refused — not because He could not but because He saw exactly what it would mean if He did.

If Jesus had turned stones to bread, every New Age practitioner and false prophet would have immediately claimed to do the same. They are experts at copying the form of miracles while emptying them of content. A bread-making Messiah would have been immediately imitable. 😄

Jesus refused to play on ground the enemy had already prepared. He answered with Deuteronomy 8:3 — "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." That answer cannot be counterfeited. Matthew 24:24 — false messiahs perform signs and wonders to deceive. Jesus chose the one sign that cannot be faked — the resurrection. ✝️

"Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." — Matthew 4:4

😄 Riddle
Which letter always stands in a line?
💡 The Answer
Q — QUEUE! 😄
Q is the only letter permanently, constitutionally, philosophically committed to standing in a line. Every other letter just sits there. Q queues. Always. Forever. The most disciplined letter in the alphabet.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Those who wait on the Lord...

Isaiah 40:31 — "Those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength." Even in the queue — especially in the queue — God is doing something. The waiting is not wasted. Q knows this. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a man who was bought and sold as a commodity between two sisters.
💡 The Answer
JACOB! Bought by Leah with mandrakes — sold by Rachel to Leah for a night! 😄
Genesis 30:14-16 — Rachel had Jacob. Leah had mandrakes. Rachel SOLD Jacob to Leah for the mandrakes. Leah then HIRED Jacob for a night. The great deceiver — the man who tricked his father, his brother and his father-in-law — was traded like livestock between his own wives. For fruit. 😄 What goes around comes around — with mandrakes!
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
You reap what you sow...

Galatians 6:7 — "God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." Jacob sowed deception his whole life. He reaped being traded between his wives for fertility fruit. But God was faithful through all of it — and the commodity became the father of twelve tribes. Grace always has the last word. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Which day is always tired?
💡 The Answer
SUNDAY — SUN-DAZE! 😴 😄
The SUN gets DAZED on SUNDAY — because everyone closes the curtains, sleeps late and stays indoors. The poor sun rises faithfully at 6am and nobody is looking! The sun is completely DAZED — where did everyone go? 😄 Or alternatively — the congregation gets sun-dazed when the sermon runs too long! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
But the true Sunday Sun never tires...

Malachi 4:2 — "The Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings." The true Sunday SUN is not dazed — He rose with healing, purpose and joy. The resurrection morning was the least dazed morning in history. Isaiah 40:28 — "He will not grow tired or weary." ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a number that is always victorious.
💡 The Answer
1 — WON! 😄
1 has NEVER LOST. Not once in the history of mathematics. 1 = WON. Always. Permanently. Undefeated. The greatest winning record in all of numerical history. 1 does not just win occasionally — 1 IS won. It is the winning.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The One who has already WON...

1 Corinthians 15:57 — "Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." ONE God. ONE Saviour. ONE name under heaven. Acts 4:12. And He has WON. Completely. Permanently. Eternally. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a day that can never be yesterday.
💡 The Answer
TOMORROW — it never comes! 😄
Tomorrow can NEVER be yesterday — because by the time it arrives it has become TODAY. Tomorrow has been chasing yesterday for the entire history of time and has never once caught it. The most elusive day in the calendar — always ahead, never arriving, never becoming the past. Tomorrow perpetually remains tomorrow! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Live in today — where God meets you...

Matthew 6:34 — "Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow never arrives. Today is where God meets you. Lamentations 3:23 — His mercies are new every morning. Every morning that arrives — was once tomorrow. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a number that is never hungry.
💡 The Answer
8 — it already ATE! 😄
8 has already EATEN — past tense, permanently satisfied, perpetually full. You cannot feed 8 because 8 has already ATE! The most satisfied number in mathematics. Offer 8 a meal and it simply says — I already ate. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The number of new beginnings that never hungers...

8 in Scripture is the number of NEW BEGINNINGS — circumcision on the 8th day, 8 people saved in Noah's ark (1 Peter 3:20), Jesus rose on the 8th day (day after the Sabbath). John 6:35 — "Whoever comes to me will NEVER GO HUNGRY." 8 already ATE — and in Christ we never need to hunger again. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Which word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it?
💡 The Answer
SHORT — add ER and it becomes SHORTER! 😄
SHORT + ER = SHORTER — which is SHORTER than SHORT! The only word in the English language that gets shorter by getting longer. The more you add the less it is. Linguists have been quietly baffled by this for centuries. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
He must increase — I must decrease...

John 3:30 — "He must increase but I must decrease." John the Baptist knew that the greatest growth in the kingdom happens when we become SHORTER — when we make ourselves less so Christ becomes more. The word that gets shorter by growing is the picture of the Christian life. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Which day is celebrated as the Atheist's Day?
💡 The Answer
APRIL FOOL'S DAY — April 1st! 😄
Psalm 14:1 — "The FOOL has said in his heart — there is no God." An atheist is someone who says there is no God — and Scripture calls that foolishness. So April 1st — April FOOL'S Day — is the Atheist's Day! The most self-descriptive holiday in the calendar — celebrated annually by those who deny the very God who created the day they celebrate on! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Creation itself is God's standing argument...

Romans 1:20 — "God's invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." Every sunrise, every heartbeat, every snowflake is evidence. The fool looks at all of it and says nobody made this. Psalm 14:1. April Fool's Day indeed. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a Bible man who became a commodity bought and sold by two women — Genesis 30.
💡 The Answer
JACOB — Rachel sold him to Leah for mandrakes. Leah hired him for a night! 😄
The master deceiver — the man who tricked his own father wearing goat skin, who tricked Laban for years, who outmanoeuvred everyone he met — was quietly traded between two sisters for a bunch of fruit. No one told Jacob. He simply came in from the field and Leah said "You must come in with me for I have hired you." 😄 Genesis 30:16. The bill of sale was mandrakes.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God works through the most unexpected arrangements...

Genesis 30:22 — "Then God remembered Rachel and opened her womb." The mandrake transaction, the hiring, the whole complicated arrangement — God worked through all of it. He always does. His purposes are never derailed by human messiness. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name the number that is pathetically an eternal loser.
💡 The Answer
0 — ZERO! 😄
Zero has never won anything, never scored anything, never counted for anything on its own. It adds nothing when added. It destroys everything when it multiplies. It has been losing since mathematics began. The most pathetically consistent loser in the entire history of numbers. 😄

But here is the beautiful twist — place 1 beside 0 and suddenly everything changes. 10. 100. 1000. 0 has no value alone — but standing next to the ONE it multiplies everything! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The zero that became everything — next to the ONE...

John 15:5 — "Apart from me you can do NOTHING." Not a little. Not something small. Nothing. Zero. The eternal loser — without Christ.

But placed next to the ONE — everything changes. 1 Corinthians 1:28 — "God chose the lowly things and the despised things — and the things that are NOT — to nullify the things that are." The zeros. The nobodies. The ones the world has written off as eternal losers. God takes a zero, places Himself beside it — and suddenly the zero becomes ten, a hundred, a thousand. Not because the zero changed — but because of WHO stands beside it. ✝️

Zechariah 4:10 — "Who dares despise the day of small things?" Even a zero in God's hands is the beginning of something. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I am zero without You. Place Yourself beside my zero today. Make me count for something eternal — not by my own value but by Yours standing next to me. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Which cup did Esau have?
💡 The Answer
The J CUP — JACOB! 😄
Esau had the J CUP — his twin brother JACOB — and lost him too! He lost his birthright TO Jacob. He lost his blessing TO Jacob. And the J CUP — Jacob himself — was his mother Rebekah's favourite and always just out of Esau's reach. Esau lost everything to the same J! The birthright, the blessing and the brother — all gone to J! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The J cup lost — and found again...

Genesis 33:4 — years later when Jacob returned, terrified of his brother's revenge — "Esau RAN to meet him and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him and they wept." Esau lost the J cup — but he did not lose his brother forever. Reconciliation came. The embrace happened. The tears flowed from both of them. ✝️

Romans 5:10 — "If while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son — how much more shall we be saved through His life." The same God who reconciled Jacob and Esau reconciles us to the Father. No J cup is lost forever in God's economy. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I choose today to run toward reconciliation — not revenge. Like Esau running to embrace Jacob — help me embrace those who have wronged me and let the tears flow. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name the only day of the week that does not end with "day."
💡 The Answer
TOMORROW — it ends with ROW not DAY! TOM + OR + ROW! 😄
Go through every day of the week — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday — they ALL end with DAY. But TOMORROW? It ends with ROW! And not only does TOMORROW not end with DAY — TOMORROW never even arrives AS a day! The most elusive non-day in the entire calendar. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The day that never comes — and the God who is already there...

James 4:13-14 — "Now listen, you who say Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city. Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes."

And yet — Jeremiah 29:11 — "For I know the plans I have for you — plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a FUTURE and a HOPE." God holds the tomorrow that never comes in His hands — and it is good. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I surrender tomorrow to You completely. You hold every future I cannot see and every day that has not yet arrived. I choose to trust You with the day that never comes — because You are already there. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name the brother of eyes.
💡 The Answer
EYEBROW — EYE + BRO! 😄
The BROTHER of the eyes — not just living above them but literally named after them! EYE + BRO = EYEBROW! The most loyal brother in the human body — always above you, always protecting you, facing sun, sweat and rain so the eyes can see clearly. He never gets the credit. Nobody says "I love your eyebrows" the way they say "I love your eyes." The BRO silently does his job every day without applause. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The brother who protects without seeking credit...

John 15:13 — "Greater love has no one than this — to lay down one's life for one's friends." The EYEBROW lays itself down daily so the EYE can see clearly. That is what true brotherhood looks like. That is what Jesus did for us. He is the ultimate EYE + BRO — the Brother who stands above us, shields us and gives everything so we can see clearly. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord thank You for being my EYE + BRO — the One who stands above me, shields me and gave everything so I can see clearly. Help me be that kind of brother and friend to others today. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a tree that is not a tree.
💡 The Answer
LOTTERY — LOT + TREE! 😄
The LOTTERY is a LOT + TREE — a tree with no roots, no shade, no fruit and no soil. The most popular non-tree in the world. It promises everything and delivers almost nothing. Millions plant their hopes in it daily and almost all go home empty-handed. The most barren tree ever invented. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The real tree vs the lottery tree...

Psalm 1:3 — "That person is like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers." Proverbs 13:11 — "Dishonest money dwindles away but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow." Choose the real tree — rooted in God's word, watered by His Spirit, bearing fruit in every season. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord plant me by Your rivers today. Let me be a real tree — rooted deeply in You — not chasing false trees that promise everything and deliver nothing. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a fruit that is not edible.
💡 The Answer
The FRUIT OF THE LABOR! 😄
The most talked-about fruit in the world — and you cannot eat a single bite of it! You can admire it, celebrate it, frame it on the wall, add it to your CV — but you absolutely cannot put it in a smoothie or serve it for dessert. The most discussed inedible fruit in human history. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The fruit that truly nourishes...

Galatians 5:22-23 — "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." The best fruit is also not edible — but it nourishes everyone around you. And Psalm 128:2 — "You will eat the fruit of your labor — blessings and prosperity will be yours." God promises that genuine labor eventually produces something you CAN enjoy. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord let the fruit of my labor bring glory to You — and let the fruit of Your Spirit in me nourish everyone I encounter today. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a vehicle that God made from the front and man made the rear.
💡 The Answer
The BULLOCK CART — or horse-driven carriage! 😄
God made the BULLOCK — the engine, the power, the living front end! Man made the CART — the wooden rear that just gets pulled along. God provides the power. Man builds something to attach to it. The most theologically accurate vehicle in history — the power is God's, the cart is ours. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God is always the power at the front...

Zechariah 4:6 — "Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit says the LORD." Without the Bullock — the cart goes nowhere. Without God — all our plans are just empty carts sitting in the field. Psalm 20:7 — "Some trust in chariots and some in horses — but we trust in the name of the LORD our God." ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I attach my cart to You today. I bring my plans, my work, my day — and hitch it to Your power. Pull me where You want me to go. I trust Your engine, not mine. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a letter that expresses disgust.
💡 The Answer
E — EEEW! 😄
The letter E has been expressing disgust since the alphabet began. EEEW! EEEK! EEE! The most viscerally disgusted letter in existence — one E is never enough. You always need at least three. EEEEW! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
What God finds truly distasteful...

Revelation 3:16 — "Because you are lukewarm — neither hot nor cold — I am about to spit you out of my mouth." If anything makes God say EEEW — it is not wickedness but lukewarmness. The half-hearted, uncommitted, one-foot-in faith. Be hot or cold. Never lukewarm. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I refuse to be lukewarm today. Set me on fire for You — completely committed, fully surrendered, unreservedly Yours. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Which letter makes every Indian a yes-man?
💡 The Answer
G — JI SAAB! Yes Sir! 😄
In Hindi G sounds like JI — the respectful Indian word for YES SIR! So G makes every Indian bow their head, fold their hands and say YES SIR immediately! The most agreeable, most deferential, most politely compliant letter in the entire Indian alphabet! G — ji saab! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The YES that matters most...

Matthew 5:37 — "Let your YES be YES and your NO be NO." God wants genuine yes — not cultural compliance, not polite deference, not the yes that means maybe. When we say YES to God it must come from the heart — not from social pressure. Mary's YES in Luke 1:38 — "I am the Lord's servant — may it be as you have said" — that is the YES that changes history. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I say a genuine YES to You today — not from habit or pressure but from my whole heart. May it be as You have said. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Which letter is always about to fall off?
💡 The Answer
H — it is on the EDGE! H-EDGE! 😄
H is always on the EDGE — H + EDGE = HEDGE! One step further and it disappears into the garden permanently! The most precariously positioned letter in the alphabet — perpetually teetering on the brink! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The One who keeps us from falling...

Jude 1:24 — "To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy." H may always be on the edge — but God holds those who trust Him back from the fall. Psalm 37:24 — "Though he may stumble he will not fall for the LORD upholds him with his hand." ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I am sometimes on the edge — teetering, uncertain, about to fall. Hold me with Your hand today. Keep me from falling. Present me faultless before Your presence. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a word that means a girl is standing below.
💡 The Answer
MISUNDERSTANDING — MIS + UNDER + STANDING! 😄
MISUNDERSTANDING = MIS + UNDER + STANDING! A girl standing BELOW = UNDER + STANDING = UNDERSTANDING! And MIS in front = MISUNDERSTANDING! The most linguistically revealing word in the English language. True understanding only comes from standing UNDER — below, submitted, listening. When we stand ABOVE and look down at something we MIS-UNDERSTAND it completely! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Stand under to truly understand...

Proverbs 3:5 — "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean NOT on your own UNDERSTANDING." True understanding requires humility — standing UNDER God's wisdom rather than above it. When we stand above His word we misunderstand everything. When we stand under it — we begin to see clearly. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I choose to stand UNDER Your word today — submitted, humble, listening. Give me Your understanding, not my own. ✝️

😄 Riddle
A plump girl waiting — what word does she represent?
💡 The Answer
MOTIVATING — MOTI + WAITING! 😄
MOTI in Hindi means fat/plump. MOTI + VATING — wait, say it out loud — MOTI + WAITING = MOTI-VATING = MOTIVATING! The plump girl WAITING is MOTIVATING! In Hindi she is MOTI and she is WAITING — MOTI-VATING! The most unexpectedly encouraging word in any language! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The waiting that truly motivates...

Isaiah 40:31 — "Those who WAIT upon the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Waiting on God is never passive. The MOTI-WAITING is MOTIVATING — because waiting on God produces the greatest motivation of all: renewed, eagle-strength for everything ahead. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I choose to WAIT on You today — not impatiently pushing ahead, but expectantly trusting. Renew my strength as I wait. Let my waiting become my greatest motivation. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a number that everyone runs away from.
💡 The Answer
TEN — 10-SHUN = TENSION! 😄
TEN + SHUN = TENSION! Everyone SHUNS the number TEN — 10-SHUN — and what do you get? TENSION! The most avoided number in human experience. Nobody wants TENSION. Everyone runs from it. Yet it follows everywhere — at work, at home, in traffic, in relationships. 10-SHUN! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The antidote to 10-SHUN...

Philippians 4:6-7 — "Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts." And John 14:1 — "Let not your hearts be troubled — you believe in God, believe also in Me." The antidote to 10-SHUN is not relaxation but BELIEF. Believe in God. Believe in Jesus. The peace that results transcends all understanding. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I bring every TENSION to You today — every 10-SHUN I am running from. I choose to believe in You rather than be troubled by circumstances. Guard my heart with Your peace. ✝️

😄 Riddle
How was Boaz described before he met Ruth?
💡 The Answer
BOAZ was RUTH-LESS — ruthless! 😄
Before meeting RUTH — Boaz was completely RUTH-LESS! RUTH-LESS = RUTHLESS! The most accidentally perfect character description in the Bible! He was a man of great wealth and standing — complete in every worldly sense — yet RUTHLESS — missing the one who would complete his story. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The Kinsman-Redeemer who pursued His Ruth...

Ruth 2:1 — Boaz was a man of standing. Ruth 4:13 — Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. The kinsman-redeemer chose to pursue the foreign woman and redeem her completely. Christ — our ultimate Kinsman-Redeemer — pursued each of us when we were strangers to His covenant. He left no one RUTH-LESS. Ephesians 2:12-13 — once foreigners, now brought near through the blood of Christ. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord thank You for being my Kinsman-Redeemer. You saw me as a stranger and chose to redeem me anyway. I am no longer RUTH-LESS — I am fully found, fully loved, fully redeemed. ✝️

😄 Riddle
What happens when we throw butter?
💡 The Answer
BUTTER + FLIES = BUTTERFLIES! 😄
Throw butter into the air and what do you get? BUTTER-FLIES! The most beautiful transformation in nature — hidden in a simple act of throwing dairy products! The creature that was once a crawling caterpillar now flies with wings more beautiful than any painting. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God specialises in transformation...

2 Corinthians 5:17 — "Therefore if anyone is in Christ the new creation has come — the old has gone, the new is here!" And Matthew 6:28-29 — "Consider how the lilies grow — even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these." God dresses butterflies more beautifully than kings. Every butterfly is a reminder that transformation is His speciality. The caterpillar never imagines the wings. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord transform me — completely, beautifully, beyond what I can imagine for myself. Let the old go and the new come. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Who was favoured with a talking transport?
💡 The Answer
BALAAM — his donkey spoke! Numbers 22:28 😄
Balaam was a professional prophet — a man paid to speak for God. Yet when he needed to hear from God it was his donkey who spoke first! The talking transport had more spiritual insight than the credentialed seer riding on it. The donkey saw the angel three times before Balaam saw it once. The prophet was out-prophesied by his own ride. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God speaks through the most unexpected voices...

Numbers 22:28 — "Then the LORD opened the donkey's mouth and it said to Balaam — What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?" 2 Peter 2:16 — the donkey "spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet's madness." Never be so credentialed that you cannot hear God speaking through the most unexpected source. Sometimes the donkey is right. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord open my ears today to hear You — however and through whomever You choose to speak. Even if it is through a donkey. ✝️

😄 Riddle
What does Genesis 3:6 prove about the way to a man's heart?
💡 The Answer
The way to a man's heart is through his belly — proved from the very beginning! 😄
Genesis 3:6 — "She also gave some to her husband who was WITH HER and he ate it." Adam was standing right there. He did not argue. He did not question. He did not refuse. She offered food and he ate. The oldest proof in human history that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach — established in the Garden of Eden before any cookbook was ever written! 😄 And then Jacob confirmed it again with lentil soup in Genesis 25. The pattern has never changed. 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
But there is a greater hunger...

John 6:35 — "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." The belly that Eve filled with forbidden fruit left Adam — and all of us — hungrier than before. Only the Bread of Life fills the hunger that no food can touch. The way to God's heart is not through our stomach but through faith in His Son. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord fill every hunger in me today — the hunger that no food can satisfy. You alone are the Bread of Life. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a man who had many sisters and no brothers.
💡 The Answer
MOSES — MORE-SIS = MOSIS = MOSES! 😄
A man with MANY SISTERS = MORE SIS = MOSES! And the irony is perfect — Moses had ONE sister Miriam who was SO significant she acted like many! She watched over the baby Moses in the basket, led the women in worship after the Red Sea crossing, and later challenged his authority. One sister who packed the energy of many! And Moses had one brother Aaron — so the riddle works beautifully — MORE SIS = MOSES! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The sister who watched over him...

Exodus 15:20 — Miriam the prophet took a timbrel and led the women in worship. Numbers 12:13 — when Miriam challenged Moses and was struck with leprosy, Moses immediately prayed "Please God heal her!" The man with MORE SIS loved his sister even when she wronged him. That is the grace of God reflected in His servant. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord give me a heart that intercedes for those who wrong me — as Moses prayed for Miriam. Let love be stronger than offence in me today. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a number that always pleads poverty.
💡 The Answer
LAKH — because LAKH sounds like LACK! 😄
LAKH — the Indian number for 100,000 — sounds exactly like LACK — I don't have enough, I am without, I am missing something! The most financially insecure number in the Indian subcontinent — perpetually, phonetically broke! Always saying I LAKH — I LACK! 😄 And yet India uses LAKH every single day in business, government and conversation — the most used number that sounds permanently poor! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The one who has God never lacks...

Psalm 23:1 — "The LORD is my shepherd — I SHALL NOT LACK." The one who has God as shepherd never has to say LAKH — never has to plead LACK — because the Shepherd provides everything. Philippians 4:19 — "My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." No LAKH. No LACK. Ever. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord I declare today — I shall not LAKH. You are my shepherd and I have everything I need in You. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Name a large number that does not exist in English.
💡 The Answer
CRORE — and LAKH! Numbers that every Indian uses daily but simply do not exist in the English number system! 😄
LAKH (1,00,000) and CRORE (1,00,00,000) are perfectly normal everyday numbers in India — used in every newspaper, business deal and government budget. English goes straight from hundred thousand to million — completely skipping LAKH! And from ten million to billion — completely skipping CRORE! The most used numbers in India are completely invisible in English! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God's supply is not limited to English numbers...

Philippians 4:19 — "My God will meet ALL your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." God's provision is not calculated in English or in rupees. His supply covers every LAKH, every CRORE, every currency and every number system on earth. His resources are in a currency that no language fully describes. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord Your provision is beyond every number system I know. Supply my needs today from Your inexhaustible riches in Christ Jesus. ✝️

😄 Riddle
Where is YOU hidden in a four digit number?
💡 The Answer
THOUSAND — THOU + SAND = THOUSAND! THOU means YOU in old English! 😄
The smallest four digit number is 1000 — ONE THOUSAND. And THOUSAND contains THOU — the old English and King James Bible word for YOU! So every THOUSAND contains YOU — THOU — hidden right at the front! ONE + THOU + SAND = ONE THOUSAND. God is ONE and He is always with YOU! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
Thou art with me — always...

Psalm 23:4 KJV — "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for THOU art with me." THOU — YOU — always present, always near, always in the number. Matthew 28:20 — "I am with you always even to the end of the age." Every thousand steps of your journey — THOU is in every one. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord thank You that YOU — THOU — are with me in every step, every number, every moment of every day. I am never alone. ✝️

😄 Riddle
What nation shouted CILANTRO?
💡 The Answer
SRI LANKA — CEYLON + THROW = CEYLON-THROW = CILANTRO! 😄
The nation that THREW away its old colonial name CEYLON and became SRI LANKA sounds exactly like CILANTRO! CEYLON-THROW = CILANTRO! The most herby national name change in history! 😄 And the herb itself — coriander/cilantro — actually appears in the Bible! Numbers 11:7 — the manna was like coriander seed. So the nation that sounds like cilantro is connected to the food that Israel complained about in the wilderness! 😄
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
God gives new names and new identities...

Isaiah 43:18-19 — "Forget the former things — do not dwell on the past. See I am doing a new thing!" Ceylon threw its old colonial name and became Sri Lanka — a new identity. God specialises in new names and new identities. Abram became Abraham. Jacob became Israel. Simon became Peter. Saul became Paul. Revelation 2:17 — "I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it." Whatever old name the enemy has given you — God has a new one. ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord give me my new name today — the one only You know. Let the old identity be thrown away and Your new creation emerge. I am not defined by my past, my failures or what others have called me. I am defined by what You call me. ✝️

😄 Riddle
How can a metal become mindful?
💡 The Answer
Add the letter N — METAL becomes MENTAL! 😄
ME-T-AL → ME-N-T-AL = MENTAL! Insert the letter N between the E and T and a piece of cold hard metal becomes a state of mind! METAL + N = MENTAL — of or relating to the MIND — mindful! The most transformative single letter insertion in the English language! 😄 One N and everything changes.
✝️ Selah — Pause & Ponder
The renewed mind — transformed by one divine addition...

Romans 12:2 — "Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your MIND." The METAL of our old thinking — hard, cold, unyielding — is transformed by the Holy Spirit into something MENTAL — renewed, alert, mindful of God. The same letters. One additional N — and everything changes. And what is that N? Perhaps NEW. The new mind. The mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 — "We have the MIND of Christ." ✝️

🙏 Prayer / Declaration

Lord renew my MIND today — transform the cold metal of my old thinking into the gold of Your thoughts. Give me the mind of Christ. Let me think Your thoughts, see with Your eyes and respond with Your wisdom today. ✝️
